Samuel Kwaku Asare was born in Accra, the capital city of Ghana .He began life as an artisanal
apprentise and is now a postgraduate student.The move from the workshop to the classroom is a mystery that only God can explain.
He started his primary school education at Adwafo L/A Primary A school.In 1986 he moved from Adwafo to Tema near
Accra where he became an apprentise in key making.As destiny will have it he ended up in the classroom again in 1987. He
continued his basic education in community 4/3 Primary School and Redemption Valley Primary School community 9 ,Tema
,where he became the school's boys prefect.In 1990 he entered Community 8/2 Junior Secondary School and successfully
passed the Basic Education Cirtificate Examination (BECE)with a distinction.
In 1993 he became an "akora'' by gaining admission to the prestigious Achimota Secondary School and read Biological Science.In
Achimota he was a scripture union house representative of Stopford house and a school athelete ;a 400 metre runner.He also
won government scholarship given to the best two students in each class.In 1995 he sat for the Senior Secondary School Cirtificate
Examination (SSCE) and again emerged with distinction.
Consequently ,he gained a smooth admission to University of Ghana.When he narrowly missed the medical school he opted
for a combined major in Nutrition and Food Science.He sucessfully graduated in June 2001.In University of Ghana he was in
Legon hall where he was elected as the floor representative of M-block and a member of the Legon hall Congress.
After graduation he worked as a quality assurance supervisor at the Myroc Food Processing Company in Tema.He then worked
as a senior research assistant at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR).In July,2003 he was awarded
a full scholarship to pursue his masters degree in the Netherlands.He has since completed and now lives in Ghana and works
as a production supervisor in myroc foods.
